Risk Disclosure
Please read this carefully before using OrderSlip. Trading in securities can lead to losses, and placing the same order in many accounts at once multiplies both the result and any mistake.
1. Market risk
- Investments in securities markets are subject to market risks. Prices of stocks, ETFs, derivatives, commodities and currencies can fall as well as rise, and you or your clients may lose part or all of the money invested.
- Futures and options are leveraged: losses can be larger than the margin deposited, and positions may be squared off by the broker if margin falls short.
SEBI studies have found that 9 out of 10 individual traders in the equity Futures & Options segment incurred net losses.
- Past performance does not guarantee future results. No strategy can promise profits.
2. OrderSlip gives no advice
OrderSlip is an order-execution technology tool only. WeGrow Finserv does not act as an investment adviser, research analyst or portfolio manager through OrderSlip, and nothing on the platform (including instrument search, prices, quantity calculations or examples) is a recommendation to buy or sell. All investment decisions and their outcome are yours.
3. Bulk-execution risk
- One confirmed order is sent to every selected account. A wrong symbol, side (BUY / SELL), quantity, price or product type is repeated in all of them.
- Quantities based on ₹ per account, % of funds or % of holding are calculated from funds and holdings fetched from the broker, which may be delayed, incomplete or changed since the last refresh. Quantities are rounded down to whole shares or lots, and an account may get zero quantity.
- Orders reach different accounts at slightly different times, so prices and fills can differ between accounts.
- An order can succeed in some accounts and fail in others because of funds, margin, holdings, broker limits, login or connection issues. Always review the per-account results.
4. Order-type risk
- Market orders fill at the best available price, which may be much worse than the last traded price in fast or thinly traded markets (slippage).
- Limit orders may fill partly or not at all.
- After-market orders (AMO) are sent at market open and may fill at a very different price from the previous close.
- Stop-loss orders do not guarantee an exit at the trigger price.
- Exchanges may halt trading, impose price bands or reject orders outside the allowed range.
5. Alert-order (automatic) risk
- Alert orders are placed automatically, without further confirmation, when the price condition you set is met.
- They depend on a live price feed. A sudden spike or wrong tick can trigger them; delays or gaps can make them trigger late or not at all.
- They run on funds and holdings at the moment of trigger, which may differ from when you created the alert.
- Review, pause or cancel alerts that no longer match your intention. Automated orders may also be subject to broker and exchange rules on algorithmic trading.
6. Technology and third-party risk
- OrderSlip relies on your broker's API, stock exchanges, market-data feeds, the static IP provider, internet networks and cloud hosting. Any of them can fail, slow down or change without notice.
- Broker login can fail (for example an expired password, a wrong TOTP secret, or an IP not added in the client's demat profile). Accounts that cannot log in will not receive orders.
- An order's status may show as "unknown" if the broker does not respond. The order may still have been placed. Check the broker's order book before re-placing, to avoid duplicate orders.
- Data shown in OrderSlip (prices, P&L, funds, holdings) may be delayed. The broker's records are final.
7. Credentials and access risk
Storing broker credentials lets OrderSlip trade in the accounts you add. If your OrderSlip login or a team member's login is misused, unwanted orders can be placed. Use a strong password, keep your authenticator safe, give team members only the access they need and remove people who leave.
8. Regulatory responsibility
If you place orders for other people, you are responsible for holding any SEBI registration your activity requires, for having each client's written authorisation, and for following your broker's and the exchanges' rules (including static IP registration and the treatment of automated orders). Regulations can change and may restrict how OrderSlip can be used.
9. Your acknowledgement
By using OrderSlip, you confirm that you have read and understood this Risk Disclosure, that you can bear the risks of trading for yourself and your clients, and that WeGrow Finserv is not responsible for any trading loss. Registration granted by SEBI and certification from NISM in no way guarantee performance of the intermediary or provide any assurance of returns to investors.
